On May 30^th, Synergy is pleased to welcome Ron Bryant. Ron is the President/CEO of Norseman Group Ltd and its subsidiaries Norseman Inc.; Campers Village Inc.; Norseman Structures Inc.

After graduating from the University of Alberta in 1976, Ron joined the family business in a full time capacity and has been there ever since. Following numerous management positions across a number of the company’s subsidiaries, Ron became President of the Norseman Group in 1990 and CEO in 1997. In 2003, as part of a major reorganization of Norseman Group, Ron and his brother Terry engaged a mezzanine lender to purchase the shares of their father Alvin, and in 2006 Ron and Terry became sole shareholders of Norseman Group Ltd.

In 2010, Norseman purchased the assets out of receivership of Cover-All Building Systems, based in Saskatoon, SK. Prior to its demise Cover-All was the largest supplier of Fabric Covered Buildings in the world, having sold over 35,000 structures worldwide since the mid 1990’s. Ron will speak to the fascinating story behind the Cover-All purchase, specifically addressing some of the key lessons taken from acquiring the assets of a much larger competitor.
